Exhaustion

Is anyone else feeling like it's not possible that tomorrow is February? This month has been a whirlwind, especially this last week.

Manic Monday!
Bedtime stories
I asked for her to smile and she struck this pose. I don't know where she gets this stuff.
Frosty morning greeting from Cinderella.
I found this note in her backpack. Ms. Henry is her teacher :).
This weekend wasn't much of a weekend for me but it was a fun (and really tiring). Over the last few months, the group I work with has been part of planning a major, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that was presented to us; host the first SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Design Weekend. Texas A&M hosted more than 1,000 a students from more than 20 countries around the world. The competition stemmed from the concept that SpaceX, PayPal and Tesla found Elon Musk presented. It took a lot of people to pull it off. I played a small part in the event but really enjoyed being a part of it, even if it was a 14 hour day on Friday and 12 hour day Saturday on my feet the entire time (minus 20 minute lunch breaks).
Arriving to the venue at 6:30 a.m.
John Ratenzburger attended. So cool to see Cliff from Cheers (and he's been in every Pixar movie). But did you also know that he is also a supporter of innovation and the Chief Advisor of Industrialization at Elite Aviation Products.
Anthony Foxx, United States Secretary of Transportation, addressed the crowd.
Checking out the Tesla's on display. My favorite was $109k.
The incredible crowd that came to check out the student teams. Little did they know that they were in store for a MAJOR surprise...
The energy in the room was incredible! We weren't sure if he was going to make it so when our group found out at the last minute it was really cool anticipating his arrival knowing that the audience would be so surprised.
So exciting to have Elon Musk visit Texas A&M!
The end to a wonderfully exhausting weekend.
