Escape to New England - Part 1

Family vacations are the best. They get even better when it's spent with my family and friends who are just like family.

First stop: Boston! This city will always be in my heart as my most favorite city I've ever been to and had the pleasure of living in for about 2 years, where I finished college. It was extra special to bring E. J. and K there and show them around.

Naturally, there were some priority stops when it came to food. Our first night, we walked to the North End and I assured E. J. that the line at Regina's was well worth the wait.
 And he agreed...so did Kathryn.

It was such a hit that we went there AGAIN the next night! Yes, the pizza is that good.

We did a lot of walking both day and night and admired the beautiful architecture that defines Boston.

We stayed at the beautiful Parker House - what a treat!
E. J. tried the signature Boston Cream Pie
 Gotta get that touristy shot!

 Make Way for Ducklings!

On our way out of the city, Sam even made a special stop so I could try Georgetown Cupcakes. I was so excited to check it out and although they were delicious, I was expecting more as far as taste goes. I guess I really built it up in my head, but I'm so glad we were able to squeeze in a trip!
Next stop: Zach and Julie's wedding! It was a perfect day for a beautiful couple.
 Oh, Sam
 All the cousins!!
The girls - so glad we got these pictures!
Of course, she found a cat.

The wedding was a blast and the company was even better. More to come about the rest of our trip!

:: Under Construction ::

It's been too long since I posted, so you can imagine that I have lots of updating to do. Yikes. I have some very exciting new, though. Town and Country Mom will have a new look very soon. Meaning, no more embarrassing-looking blog. I can't wait!

Be on the lookout! In the meantime, Happy Friday!
