Project 52 - Week 11

Everyday we walk in and out of front door and it takes a beating. Groceries are usually slammed into the door as I fumble for my keys while wrangling Kathryn, the dogs sometimes scratch their paws against the door, and the elements of country living naturally wear away at the clean look of a welcoming front door.

I wish I had taken a close-up so you could see a better look at the wear on the door.
I even had a special little helper to sand the door while we did the prep work. I purposely planned this as a pre-nap time activity because there was no way I could juggle painting and an active 22-month old.
In person, it looks drastically different. It's amazing what a fresh coat of paint on the door and the white molding will give it a clean, new look!
