Wow! 18 months! I'm really just short on words this month because:
1) Both K and I caught E. J.'s cold and I feel like I've been hit by a mack truck resulting in me not making any sense. I'm out of it!
2) I'm still in disbelief that our little girl who was born just yesterday is now a year-and-a-half!
This month's theme = many strides in communicating. I feel like she's trying to say and mimic words we say and perfecting words she's been working on. Her vocabulary is really growing!
Some not-so-proud things this month:
Kathryn knows how to turn on the tv and then brings us the remote so we can turn on a recording of her favorite show, Super Why!
Whenever we watch, How I Met Your Mother, she'll stop anything she's doing to sing along to the theme song. Oops!
Although she had a 102 fever on her 18-month birthday, we still did some celebrating with her annual half-year half-cake celebration! We also had pizza for dinner, which was the only thing she would eat. At least we got something in her?
She smells EVERYTHING she eats before she decides if it's worth sinking her teeth into
Saturday morning she was showing off her latest skills
And by Sunday she had perfected the art of the temper tantrum after a weekend of great practicing.

Either she's really getting ready for the terrible 2's & 3's or she was just tired from being sick, having 3 new teeth come in, and the time change.
My guess is that she was just really showing us what we're in for.
Happy 18 months, Kathryn!
She's such a cutie! Such long hair, we're jealous! ;)
