I consider 9 months an extra special birthday because Kathryn has been in our lives as much as she was in our thoughts and imaginations when I was pregnant with her.
For 9 months we wondered if she was a boy or a girl, what she would look like, how she would act, and a million of other details as we prepared for her arrival. Little did we know, we'd have the most perfect little girl in the world who has truly been the best baby we could have ever asked for.

Some milestones from this past month:
*About 3 weeks ago, K perfect clapping. Now all of you have to do is say "yay" and she's clapping and smiling.
*The babbling continues. We ask her to say "momma" and "dadda" and she'll give us a big smile and then eventually she'll start making the "momma" "dadda" noises. I don't know if it officially counts as words or if they are easy sounds to make, but it sure sounds like the words. She's getting there!
*She's a crawling maniac!
*E. J. taught her how to give kisses and when you ask for one, you get one...a big ole' wet one. It's more like licking your lips, but it's the cutest little thing.
*K had a big milestone today...standing! I was lucky enough to be home today, thanks to a snow day (that post is coming tomorrow) and I got to see the whole thing unfold :) All by herself!

Turning 9 months is tiring, especially after a day full up strengthening the legs with standing exercises.
